Week of Sept. 24

This week in math we have been working with counting money and making change. In reading, we spent two days working in our Book Clubs, and read the story 'Sarah, Plain and Tall.' In Science, we have been working on coloring, cutting and pasting the different organs of the digestive system and skeletal system onto our human body cut outs. In social studies, we have been learning how to use latitude and longitude lines on maps and globes. We took our NWEA tests for Reading and Math this week. We also had a really cool assembly called, 'Focus on Your Target' where a funny guy in a wheel chair showed us how he won an Olympic medal shooting a bow and arrow.
