Week of Oct. 1st

We had a busy week with testing! We took our first Social Studies test which had to do with map and globe skills. The test was "open book" but was still hard. In math, we took our Chapter 2 test. There were questions on it about rounding, adding money, making change and using a bar graph. The making change part was probably the hardest. We also took our spelling test, read in our book clubs and read a story called 'Seal Journey' in our Reading books. In Science, we finished adding the leg bones to our human body cut outs. We made some really cool drawings in Art, and will be starting scooter hockey in Phy Ed. next week! Mary Born has been working with us doing Accelerated Math and Reading, and Mrs. Eggert has been working with some of us on Read Naturally.
