This week we have been working with irregular plural nouns and singular possessive nouns during our D.O.L. time. In Reading, we finished the story 'Justin and the Best Biscuits in the World.' On Friday, we all got to make real biscuits from scratch along with bacon and stewed raisins!
In Math, we started Chapter 4 this week. It is about multiplication and division. We have started taking timed tests for our multiplication facts, starting with the 0's, 1's, 2's and 5's. In Science we took a test covering cells, tissues, body systems, classifying organisms, etc. We also had a test in Social Studies this week covering Chapter 1: Geography.
We had 2 assemblies this week: An Accelerated Reader assembly on Thursday, and a Veteran's Assembly on Friday.
